Meet Hideout
The Hideout Salon and Lounge is a funky, eclectic salon located in the heart of East Nashville. Our mission is to give the community great hair and cultivate a safe space to be creative. Our space is one that is for the misfits, the creators, the yogis, the artists, the musicians, the loiterers, the rebels, and most of all for good hair! We welcome all to come get cuts and colors by some of Nashville’s most bad-ass stylists, who, like the space itself, are unique, creative, and in love with their craft. In addition to the salon, we will regularly host a myriad of events like live music, community classes, and art shows featuring local artists. At The Hideout Salon and Lounge we strongly believe in creating safe spaces for creativity, cultivation, and exploration

Chelsea started The Hideout Salon and Lounge to create a space and community that welcomes everyone to be their unique selves, and to create great hair! She has been a stylist since 2005, originally from gloomy Seattle where she first fell in love with mermaid-colored hair under grey skies. In her free time she goes on adventures with her family, and bakes mediocre cakes.

Outside of work you can catch her at any punk/rock/alt show or trying to soak up as much time with her friends as possible. Heather started her cosmetology journey at Paul Mitchell the School Nashville. She assisted for a year and a half in a salon, absorbing all the hair knowledge she could. She loves continuing her education with various classes for inspiration and new techniques she can use in the salon. Making people look and feel great about themselves is Heather's favorite part of being in this industry. She is excited to continue pursuing her passion for hair surrounded by such an amazing community of people.
When she's not in the salon, she's with her husband, Chris, their 4 boys - Chase, Ethan, Marshell and Draven.... and Socks, the cat. She enjoys DIY and being crafty, watching true crime documentaries and anything rock & roll.
